Editorial Workflow

Transparent, COPE-aligned process. Double-blind peer review.

  1. Submission — Authors submit a PDF plus source (LaTeX/Word) and links to data/code.
  2. Initial Screening — Managing Editor checks scope, structure, ethics; EIC confirms suitability.
  3. Editor Assignment — EIC assigns an Associate Editor based on topic.
  4. Reviewer Selection — Two independent reviewers invited; double-blind maintained.
  5. Peer Review — Reviewers assess correctness, clarity, reproducibility (target: 30–45 days).
  6. Decision — Accept / Minor Rev / Major Rev / Reject. Revision cycles as needed.
  7. Production — Copyediting, layout (PDF/HTML), metadata & DOI deposit, publication.
  8. Archiving & Indexing — OAI-PMH/PKP PN (or equivalent), sitemap update, discovery services.
